I read somewhere in your blog you’ve done away with your ads. That signals to me one thing: you’re blogging because you need to blog. It has become your passion or one of your passions.

If I’ve misread your true intentions, then I say you can quit blogging. You’ve got to maintain some balance, di ba? How about your health? Baka magkasakit ka pa because of the hours you keep.

Puede rin naman i-cut down ang post frequency mo. Say – once a week. Or twice a month. You’ve a captured audience. I think you’ve clicked with them. I suspect they’d respect your choice and stick with you and wait for the appointed day when you’ll be posting. Make it meaty na lang and worth the long wait.

I’ve subscribed to some bloggers who don’t post much. But I stay with them because I love their unique voice and helpful ideas. Many readers are like me, I am sure.

Adjust mo na lang posting frequency mo, lio. Then ask some of your trusted friends to guest post for you every now and then pag may emergency sa personal life mo. Just be there on the appointed hour of your date with your readers. Di ka nila iiwan.

Those who will not like it? To hell with them. At least makikilala mo who will stand by you. Mahirap kasi magcultivate ng readership. Number two – friends mo mga yan. You can draw energy from them as well as inspiration when the going gets tough.

here’s a quick question, uncle jan. if you’re a twentyish yuppie who slaves a call whoring job all day and goes to a CPA review school after work and does a follow up review at the dorm afterwards, how will you squeeze in the time for blogging?

lately, i’m seriously considering ending my short blogging stint because i’m almost always preoccupied with my work and review, hence the lack of time to write posts. but i really love blogging i’d feel something will be missing if i finally reach that point of throwing my blog in the recycle bin. any suggestions, uncle jan?
