It is Done: Here's Writing to Exhale Now

Guys, I’d be transferring to my new WordPress home atWriting to Exhale tonight.

I hope all goes well with the blog transfer. And that you will still visit me once my new home is ready to welcome you. Not to worry. Rocky of WeBlogZone who gifted me with this great WP blog assured me that it would be a smooth transition.

Doc Z of Zorlone asked me a relevant question about the change of domain and how it affects my being nominated to the Top Ten List of Emerging Influential Blogs of 2009. Will changing my domain name disqualify my nomination? I’ve asked Ms. Janette Toral about this and she assured me it would not. Says Janette:

No. In the end, the qualification of a site is based on the archive date. As long as your archives are intact reflecting when you really started, it will all be ok. You will need to ask those who mentioned your site to update their entry to point to your new site though in order to transfer their votes.

A shout-out to those who nominated my blog in this writing project: Please update your list and put in Writing to Exhale instead of Sa Labas ng Mandaluyong. Thanks!

Back atcha! I'm training myself not to use smilies in my writing. After all, I'm moving to WP. I have this pet notion that I should not laugh loudly there. I don't know why. Weird right.

I'm saying this because of my previous comment. If I had put in smilies up there I guess you would not have said ooops. Because you'd know I was just teasing you.

Oh boy, this is tough. Making your writing smile and wink and all my tricks of the trade without smilies as a crutch. But getting there. Darating din tayo dyan. Finally, I love your analogy although the mental picture it conjures is funny. Imagine lolo jan as a caterpillar. Ah, that's something else. But I have respect for your creativeness. So here I am now enjoying your creative sallies.

The other domain is jangeronimo.com, something for my personal blog. Still

under wraps. This comes free with the webhost service. So we had it

registered, too. That's a wise move - somebody might beat me to registering

it. You can never tell. Now, it's mine. Ahahaha.

This is all new to me. I don't even have something to put into

jangeronimo.com at this time. I'm just looking at it now every so often,

like a newly bought gadget from the department store. ",)
